So I just read this on Giz.

Obviously, it's more than just diesel. It's a combination, but diesel does seem to be worse in large numbers of cars in a hugely populated urban area.
So does this mean France is going to move toward having fewer diesel cars in production? Could the Jalop dream be over? Or is this just being blown all out of proportion? (yes. the last one is true)

Well, as stated, they've already dumped the diesel subsidies. I expect the next move will be a push for low sulfur diesel as they did in the US.
